I just gave birth to my first child, a beautiful daughter, born 3/18/97. I chose to give birth to her in the water because it made sense to me as the most positive experience I could give myself and this new human being entering what can be a cold, cruel world. Everyone in my life was in total awe (some were in shock) at my choice and I have nothing but POSITIVE, JOYFUL things to say about it. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my daughter came into this world in the best way I could arrange for her. I can hardly wait to share the pictures with her when she gets to the age where she'll be preparing to be a mother herself. Thanks for providing a place to share.
