I love your waterbirth website and would just like to comment on my son's waterbirth. He was born in the tub at an Australian hospital, on the 8th of September, 1997. As a midwife, I can now personally recommend and educate other women to the joys and safety of waterbirth. Although far from pain free and peaceful, being in the bath allowed for that deep relaxation between contractions that helped me to keep it together.
